THEY WANT TO BAN THE ARREST OF SINGLE FATHERS

A bill banning the arrest of single fathers for administrative offenses has been submitted to the State Duma. The initiative will affect men who raise children up to 14 years old alone.

As the authors of the initiative explain, the administrative arrest of a single father with a small child will leave the child "without parental supervision.»

Recall that today the ban on arrest for administrative offenses applies only to single mothers with a child under 14 years old. However, this restriction does not apply to men raising children of the same age alone.
