The list of contraindications to vaccination approved in Russia
The Ministry of Health has prepared an order that contains contraindications for vaccination against coronavirus.  The list included both permanent and temporary causes, as well as certain conditions, such as pregnancy and young age.

Contraindications are divided into several groups: indefinite, urgent, and also valid for specific types of vaccines.

The first category includes previously recorded signs of hypersensitivity to the components of the vaccine, severe allergic reactions, as well as complications that occurred after the use of the vaccine.

Among the temporary causes, there are ARVI, acute respiratory infections and gastrointestinal infections.  In this case, the vaccination should not be carried out until the body temperature is normal.  Among the temporary causes, there are both infectious and non-communicable diseases, including exacerbation of chronic health problems.

The presence of malignant neoplasms is a contraindication to the use of the EpiVacCorona vaccine, and pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications to the use of a number of drugs, including Sputnik Light, CoviVac and EpiVacCorona.

The order establishes contraindications for vaccination of children under 12 years of age (for a vaccine developed for adolescents) and 18 years of age for all other vaccines, as well as for citizens over 60 years old for KoviVak, EpiVakKorona and Gam-COVID-Wak-Lio.

The signed document has already been published on the official Internet portal.
