The Buryat prosecutor's office closed the site that sold poisons
Employees of the Tarbagatai district of the republic found an Internet site where toxic substances were sold. Any citizen could absolutely freely buy poison, and there were no age restrictions indicated on the website.
As a result, the prosecutor's office initiated proceedings, intending to block the site. The district court, which received an appeal from the supervisory authority, supported the prosecutor's initiative. This means that in the near future the site will be in the register of banned, and access to it will be blocked.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor's office, information about the free sale of poisons should be prohibited from distribution.
This is necessary in order to protect the morality, rights and interests of the population of the country.
In accordance with the information legislation (Part 1 of Article 9 of the Federal Law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection"), the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications is engaged in blocking websites in Russia. The agency has been maintaining "black lists" with domain names of sites subject to blocking for several years.
