Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights has banned the import of tangerines from Turkey
Information on the suspension of deliveries of Turkish-made tangerines from October 29 appeared on the agency's website. Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights revealed violations in the products.
It is stated that Chlorpyrifos pesticides have been found in Turkish tangerines in a concentration exceeding the maximum permissible level. Due to this, Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights stopped deliveries from October 29, 2021 until further notice.
In mid-October, Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights also banned the import of some products from China due to the excessive share of genetically modified raw materials. The list of prohibited products includes corn chips, noodles, corn noodles, cookies with a surprise toy and chocolate eggs with dessert.
