Purchases of ‘Epivaccorona’ vaccine will be temporarily suspended
The Epivaccorona vaccine did not become popular among the population, but manufacturers released it in large quantities.  Since the beginning of 2022, the regions have not bought a single batch.

According to Vedomosti, data on the lack of purchases is registered on Roszdravnadzor website. Experts note that Epivaccorona has not been supplied for a long time, and according to some reports, it is no longer produced at all.  The last batches of the vaccine were delivered to the majority of regions in November-December.  The dates of the next deliveries are unknown.
Since the beginning of 2022, only Sputnik V and Kovivac vaccines have been produced.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade told the media outlet that the regions had a significant stock of all vaccines.  This should be enough even if the rate of vaccination increases significantly.

Other agencies also reported that by the end of 2021, there were large amounts of vaccine residues.  For this reason, no new contracts were signed at the beginning of 2022.  However, there is no Epivaccorona in Moscow - this is reported on the website of the mayor of the capital.  A similar situation is observed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Representatives of the media outlet interviewed doctors, 28% of them reported that there was no Epivaccorona in their hospitals.  70% of respondents noted that this vaccine was not popular among patients.  83% of doctors added that they were not aware of possible future deliveries.
‘Epivaccorona’ was popular in the spring of 2021, after which Russians began to vaccinate less often.
According to official data, 78,059,701 people have been fully vaccinated in the Russian Federation.  With the first component of the vaccine - 81,981,007. Over the past day, 67,809 new cases of covid have been recorded, as well as 681 deaths.
