New-build housing and bitcoin: the things you should have bought in 2021

The international audit and consulting network FinExpertiza has summed up the results of the outgoing year in terms of the best sources of profit.  According to its rating, the highest income for investors in 2021 was shown by new buildings, bitcoin, as well as shares of the US stock market.

The approach of analysts in the calculation consisted in a comparative analysis of the nominal income when investing one hundred thousand rubles in various assets. The beginning of the year was chosen as a start of the investment, with calculations of the results in 12 months.

For two years in a row, the first place in the rating has been held by bitcoin, the value of which has risen by 75.4% over the year.

At the same time, investments in new buildings showed a good income - the annual income from them amounted to more than 28%. The three leaders among the top investment areas were closed by the shares of the American stock market. The yield in this segment was 25%, Izvestia reports.

As for Russian stocks, they also showed good results in the context of investment profitability. According to the study, when purchasing national securities, the profitability can be almost 19% for a year.

As for the investments that showed the least benefit, among them there were investments in euros and gold.

Their annual income has remained at the same level or in some cases has even declined.
