Moscow beauty salon began accepting payments with Chanel bags
It became possible to pay for services with Chanel bags in one of the Moscow beauty salons. The idea arose after one of the clients had offered to pay with her new branded handbag, since she did not have a bank card with her.
According to the head of the salon, the idea was supported by other visitors, who also resorted to a new form of payment.
Now the salon is planning to develop a price list, where the cost of services will be indicated in the new “currency”.
The mechanism of working with the new means of payment is as follows: the employee must evaluate the thing according to its market value, name the amount for which the salon is ready to accept the bag, after which, if the client agrees, she is given procedures for the corresponding sum of money.
The bags received in this way are supposed to be exchanged by clients one for another - with payment for the difference in the cost of procedures, Gazeta.ru reports.
We should remind our readers that recently it became known about the scandal that erupted around Chanel products. In one of the brand's boutiques in Dubai, the Russian woman was refused to sell the bag until she signed a document stating that she would not take it to Russia. The fashion house in Paris denied this information, saying that the reason was the blocking of the bank account to which the card is linked, RIA Novosti reports. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has already commented on the situation, recalling that during World War II, the founder of the fashion house, Coco Chanel, “was an agent of the Third Reich.”
