More than 31 thousand Covid-19 cases registered in Russia per day
New anti-record has been set in Russia - over the past 24 hours, 31,299 new cases have been registered in the country. The record was also broken for the number of deaths from the coronavirus.
Over the past day, 986 Russians have died from covid, which is also the maximum number for the entire time of the pandemic. In total, 220 315 people became victims of the virus.
According to the information of the operational headquarters, the number of cases of covid in the Russian Federation has reached 7 892 980 people. An increase in the incidence rate was also recorded in Moscow - 6712 new patients per day, which is comparable to the July figures.
Moscow remains the leader in terms of the number of infections. It is followed by St. Petersburg (2345 people), Moscow region (more than 1900), Samara region (more than 750), Nizhny Novgorod region (682), Voronezh region (657), Bashkiria (652), Perm region (569), Sverdlovsk region (562) and Crimea (552).
