Kherson region of Ukraine switches to payments in rubles From May 1
It became known that from May 1, the Kherson region of Ukraine is moving into the ruble zone. This was stated by the chairman of the military-civilian administration of the region Kirill Stremousov.
Stremousov added that the transition will last about four months - during this period of time, both rubles and hryvnias will be accepted in the region. But then the Kherson region will completely switch to payments in rubles.

Volodymyr Saldo, who had already headed Kherson until 2012, became the head of the region. The military-civilian administration of the region noted that the former mayor of Kherson, Igor Kolykhaev, refused to cooperate.
