Head physician of the Irkutsk hospital recommended non-vaccinated citizens to die at home

The Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk Region hastened to explain the words of the head physician of one of the local hospitals.  He stated that unvaccinated people should not call an ambulance and die at home.

The head physician of the Ivano-Matreninskaya Children's Clinical Hospital Vladimir Novozhilov turned out to be in the center of public resonance.  He made a statement that non-vaccinated citizens should die at home during a live broadcast on October 25.

The head of the Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk Region, Yakov Sandakov, commented on the situation, noting that Novozhilov constantly faced the consequences of Covid-19 and worried about his young patients.  The doctor was concerned about the fact that children were getting sick more often and more severely.

The Ministry of Health added that assistance to unvaccinated Russians would be provided in full.

The department also explained that the statement of the head physician is emotional in nature - it would not affect the treatment of patients in any way.  Ministry of Health believes that this is rather a call for vaccination.

We should note that Vladimir Novozhilov made a recommendation to ‘die at home’ after the woman's reply on the air, who said that vaccination was everyone's personal choice.

The woman said that the vaccine was not time-tested, which caused a vivid reaction.  The doctor also advised smokers not to go to hospitals in case of a heart attack, since cigarettes are one of the provoking factors.
