BANKRUPT BUSINESSMAN ORGANIZED A CONTRACT KILLING OF HIS LAWYER
The lawyer Stanislav Chesnokov, who dealt with bankruptcy cases, was searched for by the police of St. Petersburg for several days from the very moment his wife had filed a statement about the disappearance of her husband. In fact, the search turned out to be a fiction, since the 37-year-old bankruptcy manager Chesnokov did not really disappear, but was in a secret room under the protection of the police.

At this time, officers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region carried out a special operation to collect evidence and arrest the 58-year-old ex-businessman Alexei Rudakov, who decided to order a contract killing of a lawyer.

According to Rudakov, lawyer Chesnokov was guilty of his ruin.

Rudakov himself was detained by the police two days later, on February 5. The alleged "killer" (the role of which was performed by a police officer) met Rudakov in the park in order to submit a report on the fulfillment of the order and receive the rest of the previously agreed amount. It is curious that the "customer" did not have the necessary amount of money during the arrest.

Earlier, on January 28, the "killer" had already received from the customer $ 5 thousand, a photograph of Chesnokov, data on his place of residence and a vehicle. Also, the operative received from the alleged customer a murder weapon (a homemade pistol with a silencer) and several dozen cartridges for it.

Currently, the investigation into the contract killing case is in process.

Rudakov will be arrested, charged and a trial over a case of contract killing organization will be held. He might be sentenced to imorisonment of 8 to 20 years. It is known that the suspect has three children (two adult daughters and a 12-year-old son) and a wife. He himself lives on the outskirts of St. Petersburg in a small apartment where he moved from the Voronezh region.

What caused Rudakov to inflame such hostility to Chesnokov? After the suspect began actively looking for a possible executor of the order, it became clear that there was more emotion than logic in the case.

The fact is that Rudakov went bankrupt in 2019. Before that, he had been registered as an individual entrepreneur since 2012. One of his business projects could have been the idea a hostel organization in an apartment purchased in 2008 with a loan from Bank Intesa. The loan was in foreign currency, but Rudakov was not able to pay it.

As a result, the apartment was auctioned off for 7.9 million rubles.

The market price of an apartment is almost twice as high, say the experts.

The buyer was a resident of Murmansk, businessman Viktor Spiritsa. He bought an apartment of 125 sq. meters on Moskovsky Prospekt in November 2019. In December 2020, Rudakov received a refusal of the Commercial Court for his request to invalidate the contract and filed an appeal. Its consideration was to begin on February 8. It is known that in the bankruptcy case, Rudakov had not only an apartment, but also other assets, which he eventually lost, having blamed not himself or creditors for his troubles, but the bankruptcy manager who just performed his work.
