The Izmailovsky District Court of the capital issued an acquittal to a woman who was accused of violent actions against a magistrate.  The story began with an administrative case for a car fine, but ended up with a criminal one.

The woman decided to challenge a fine for parking in court, as in her opinion, it had been debited for several times.

The driver failed to prove this in the department of bailiffs, after which she turned to the court.

However, the meeting turned out to be tense, as a result, a criminal case was opened against the woman under Part 3 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ‘Threat or violent actions in connection with the administration of justice’. The maximum penalty for an act is up to three years in prison. The essence of the charges boiled down to the fact that the woman hit the magistrate on the arm and threatened her, reports MK.

However, the video recordings, which were viewed during the investigation of the circumstances of the criminal case, brought clarity to the case.

The cameras recorded that the woman did not approach the judge, which meant that there could be no question of any physical impact. At the same time, the process itself took place in a difficult and tense atmosphere.

The result of the consideration was the acquittal of the driver.
