Yenisei chemical plant demands millions from the Ministry of Industry and Trade
More than 10 years have passed since the recognition of the Krasnoyarsk chemical plant ‘Yenisei’ as bankrupt.  However, the enterprise continues to apply to the Ministry of Industry and Trade with applications to the capital's arbitration with enviable regularity, demanding multimillion sums.  In August 2020, the company's claims amounted to 65 million rubles, in February 2021 - to more than 70 million rubles.  This time, the amount of the claim exceeded 133 million (case No. A40-44801/22).

The plant started operating in 1941.  The defense enterprise was engaged in the production of ammunition (in particular, solid rocket fuel and gunpowder).  After the company was declared insolvent in 2011, the bankruptcy proceedings have still not been completed.
One of the reasons was the unresolved environmental problem.
The territory of the chemical plant is an industrial zone with settling ponds of hazardous production.  According to experts, the plant's sludge collector stores hundreds of tons of waste (residues of acids, petroleum products, powder mass, nitrocellulose, formaldehyde) that can explode and cause an environmental disaster.

The Bazaikha residential area is located next to the enterprise that has not been operating for a long time.  Its residents are trying to drive away bad thoughts about the possible consequences of what could happen in the event of an emergency at the enterprise.

At the end of last year, information appeared in the media that the authorities nevertheless made a decision to eliminate the remains of chemical production, subjecting the territory to cleaning and reclamation.  At that time, a tender worth 2.16 billion rubles appeared on the public procurement website.  This amount included the obligations of the contractor for the demolition of 28 structures, the destruction of almost 2 km of flyovers and more than 22 km of industrial sewage.
It is noted that the chemical plant has long been waiting for liquidation.
At the same time, back in 2016, the regional arbitration issued a decision obliging state departments (Federal Property Management Agency and the Ministry of Industry and Trade) to assume the costs of managing a high-risk production facility.  But judging by the claims that continue to come to arbitration, the hands of officials have not yet reached the point where they come to grips with the oldest defense enterprise in Siberia.
