WHO'S WHO? "ILE DE BOTHE" IS SUING "LATUAL"
The Russian cosmetics and perfumery chain "Il de Bote" filed a lawsuit in the intellectual property court against the company "Alcor & Co.", the owner of the brand "Latual", trying to challenge the brand trademark (case No. SIP-995/2023).
"Ile de Bothe" intends to challenge trademark No. 446027, which is the inscription "Island of Beauty", located on a white background. The plaintiff insists on the alienation of the trademark in connection with its non-use by the owner. Rospatent acts as a third party in this dispute.
The court left the statement of claim without motion due to the lack of supporting facts of receipt of a copy of the claim by the defendant. The court determined to eliminate the shortcomings before 01.11.2023.
