THE US IS GOING TO SUE GOOGLE CORPORATION

It became known that the representatives of the US Department of Justice are about to file an antitrust lawsuit against Google corporation. The authorities believe that the company dominates in search and advertising technologies.

It is expected that the lawsuit will be filed in the next few weeks, while the US Department of Justice is discussing the possibility of a legal action. Google is accused of monopolizing in the Internet search. It is interesting that 34 companies appealed to the European Commission with a complaint against Google in February - the corporation was allegedly engaged in unfair promotion. In addition, the company received antitrust fines, but it has already managed to pay 8.2 billion euros on them.

In the upcoming lawsuit, Google is also charged with collusion with Apple and the Android operating systems, since the corporation’s search engine is automatically installed on the devices.

The US media report that antitrust investigations will also affect Facebook, Apple, Amazon and other giants.

We should recall that the court of California received a class-action lawsuit against Google in early June - the company was accused of the illegal data collection. In this case, the corporation might receive a fine of another 5 billion dollars.
