THE FOUNDER OF ALIBABA IS SUED FOR FAKES

A former employee of UC Web, a subsidiary of Alibaba, has filed a lawsuit in an Indian court for a wrongful dismissal. The plaintiff Pushpandra Singh Parmar said he had been fired for objection to post the fakes on Alibaba apps.

Parmar accuses Alibaba of publishing fake data, owned by UC Browser and UC News, in order to create political and social unrest. The defendants are representatives of Alibaba and the founder of the company Jack Ma - they are all summoned to an Indian court.

We should note that the lawsuit was filed against the background of the military conflict between China and India. Since the clashes began, India has blocked 59 Chinese apps, including UC Browser and UC News.

Parmar worked at UC Web in Gurgaon until October 2017. In support of his claim, he attached several UC News posts with false information to the lawsuit. Parmar is seeking compensation in the amount of $ 268,000.

It is also worth noting that the Chinese side began to lay off the employees from India after blocking of the applications - it is believed that it was the reason why the lawsuit was filed.

We should recall that the military conflict between China and India took place in mid-June - it happened on the border of the countries due to the fact that the Chinese military had established an observation point there. The Indian side tried to dismantle it, which resulted in clashes. Despite the absence of the firearms, according to the official version, 20 soldiers were killed - stones and other improvised means were used.
