One of the inmates of the American prison in Florence filed a lawsuit against the administration demanding monetary compensation in the amount of $ 250,000. The initiator of the case is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was found guilty of organizing a terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon in 2013.
According to the 26-year-old plaintiff, he is discriminated against, because he is not allowed to take shower more than three times a week. Tsarnaev also complains that his caps and bandanas were taken away from him, reports Boston Herald.
According to the plaintiff, this “harsh treatment” affects both his physical and emotional well-being.
At the moment, there is no information about the acceptance of the claim for proceedings, since the established amount of fee has not been paid yet.
We should recall that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev together with his brother Tamerlane organized a terrorist attack in Boston in the spring of 2013, as a result of which 3 people died and dozens were injured.
In the summer of 2015, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death, but the decision did not enter into force due to several attempts to appeal against the sentence. The defendant was found guilty on a number of issues and is now serving for life in American prison.
