TAX AUTHORITIES WILL BANKRUPT PERM IT SPECIALISTS

On October 5, the arbitration received a claim from the tax authorities (MI FTS No. 21) demanding that the Digital Wave company (D-Wave) be declared insolvent. The Court has not yet accepted the application for consideration (case no. A50-24436/2023). The amount of financial claims against Perm IT specialists from the Federal Tax Service is also not disclosed.

The head of D-Wave, Mikhail Elin, told representatives of RBC Perm that he had not yet been informed about the claim by the time the information was published in the arbitration file. According to the CEO, the firm has recently been negotiating with the Federal Tax Service on restructuring, but there has been no notification of the submitted application. According to Elin, the amount of debt is small and will be liquidated soon.

The company was established two years ago. In 2021, the Skolkovo Foundation recognized the organization as its resident. The main development of D-Wave specialists was a technological complex designed to calculate the volume of bulk materials in covered warehouses.

Perm specialists have developed an algorithm based on "machine vision". It turned out that neural networks working on the basis of images obtained from IP cameras can help in creating complex three-dimensional models.

As a result, the company offered its cooperation to the participants of the Emerge technology conference, including representatives of firms from foreign countries. It is reported about the cooperation of the enterprise with large industrial enterprises.

According to the organization itself, its employees are 13 people, including the head, UX/UI designers, programmers and other team members. In 2022, the company received 4.4 million rubles of revenue, and the net profit of the organization amounted to 2.1 million rubles.
