The arbitration of the Moscow region received a claim for the insolvency of the company "Clearlight Rus". On January 12, 2023, Stroyelectromontazh applied to arbitration with claims against the defendant in the amount of more than 1.78 million (case no. A41-2263/2023). The entry into the process has already been announced by the company "GTO" ("GrandTreydOil") from Ufa and the Federal Tax Service No. 22 in the Moscow region. The court plans to consider the validity of the claim on March 7.
The reason for the claim was a contract with a subcontractor worth 4.4 million rubles. The company was supposed to assist in carrying out work on lighting residential courtyards. The works were completed for 2.66 million. But the contractor received only 880 thousand from Clearlight Rus (the general contractor). The firm filed a lawsuit, demanding to recover the unpaid amount, having achieved a positive result in the Bashkir arbitration in the summer of 2022.
Financial claims against the defendant also arose from the company "GTO", which concluded a contract with the defendant in 2020 to carry out repair work. The company participated in the Ufa yard improvement program. The terms of the agreement were violated. In August 2022, GTO managed to obtain a court decision that recovered 30.2 million rubles from the defendant.
In Bashkiria, a company from the Moscow region became infamous in 2019. The authorities signed a contract related to the supply of Christmas light structures (so-called "pixel Christmas trees") worth 115.5 million rubles. The objects themselves were delivered to different cities of the republic. There was no alternative choice of supplier based on the emergency regime, which had not yet been introduced at that time.
The republican Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service became interested in the story of the Christmas trees. The supervisory authority found out that the price of the structures was several times too high, and the Christmas trees themselves could not help in eliminating the negative consequences of an emergency. The company was ordered to return the money received to the state through the court. In 2022, a criminal investigation was launched.
Clearlight Rus has been operating in the Moscow region since May 2014. The company is headed by Sergey Makeev. He is also its beneficiary. According to open sources, in 2021 the company received revenue of 420.6 million. The organization ended the financial year with a profit of 3.06 million.
