SARATOV RADIO PLANT IS THREATENED WITH BANKRUPTCY

On June 19, 2023, an application for insolvency of Saratov Radio Instrument Plant JSC (SRZ JSC) was submitted to arbitration. Initiates the process of the control panel "Teplosphere" on the basis of a debt of 11,041,691 rubles (case no. A57-15592/2023). Until July 27, the claim of the industrial and commercial enterprise was left without movement due to the need to eliminate the circumstances that caused it.

For one of the oldest enterprises in the Saratov region (SRZ has been operating since the late 1940s), the current insolvency claim is far from the first. According to local media, the current problems of the company have already been discussed in the regional press since 2020.

Before that, bankruptcy threatened SRZ in 2018. Then the company was presented with demands not only by utility providers, but also by Sberbank. The intervention of Rostec Group of Companies saved the plant from ruin. The plant became part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV), and debts (648 million) were written off. Granit-Electron Corporation, to which the company also owed 600 million rubles, refused its demands.

In 2021, the initiative to recognize the plant as insolvent was already taken by the power engineers, who demanded 8.7 million from the organization on August 12, 2021, the plant's water supply was turned off. The reason for this was the debt of the plant to the water supply organization of 5 million rubles.

In 2022, the company's employees were transferred to part-time employment. However, this does not prevent the regional authorities from maintaining confidence in the efficiency of the enterprise. The regional Ministry of Industry reported that the litigation of the company is not threatened, and the plant itself appealed to the district court, trying to appeal the decision of the court that recognized the debt. However, the cassation has already refused the plant to postpone the execution of the verdict.

The Saratov Radio Instrument Factory recently took part in the work of the International Naval Salon (MVMS). At the KTRV exhibition stand, the company presented coastal radar systems necessary for the detection and wiring of ships, various navigation systems.

According to experts, 15 enforcement proceedings have already been opened against the plant. The total amount of claims for them is more than 29 million rubles. At the same time, SRZ managed to repay a significant part (18.5 million).

The Teplosphere control panel has been in existence since 2001. The company specializes in providing boiler rooms. The company employs about 40 employees. The firm ended 2022 with a profit of 3.1 million, which increased by 47%, despite a twofold reduction in revenue. Last year it amounted to 137 million rubles.
