The namesake of the former President and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev applied to court with a demand to remove the book ‘ ‘There is no money, but you promote yourselves’ from the sale and also to pay him 400 thousand rubles in moral compensation.
Russian Dmitry Medvedev filed a lawsuit against the Eksmo publishing house, claiming that his name was misused in the book. The fact is that the book lacks the middle name of the politician and the author of the scandalous phrase ‘There is no money, but you stay strong’ and the plaintiff ‘grasped’ for this detail.
The offended Russian took the phrase from the book to his heart, since the author's patronymic is not indicated there.
The plaintiff noted that he did not give permission to mention his name and surname. He also recalled that he did not say anything like that.
The namesake of the ex-president is from Belgorod. According to Mash telegram channel, Russian Dmitry Medvedev, began to intimidate the author, Dmitry Banchukov, with ‘angry SMS’ after he had seen the book on sale. Later he decided to apply to court for compensation.
