Representatives of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications sent a message about the presence of several videos on the PornHub website, the content of which may contradict the law, to the law enforcement agencies. The experts of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation were invited to prepare an expert opinion on six videos, the authors of which the supervisory authority is ready to bring to justice. This is reported by Izvestia, referring to information received directly from the federal service.

It is curious that the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications does not relate the violation of the legislation to liability under Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation related to the production and circulation of pornography on the Internet.

When viewing the PornHub materials, the civil service workers found several videos, in which the attributes of the religious cult of the Russian Orthodox Church appeared.

Now experts are also invited to study the video material in order to decide whether it violates the right of citizens to freedom of religion and whether it is possible to block access to the website on this basis, initiating a criminal case under Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In several more videos from, the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications employees found propaganda of drugs.

The characters not only demonstrated psychotropic substances, but also showed how they can be used. Now the study of the materials will be dealt with at the General Directorate for the Control of Drug Trafficking. If the experts of this division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decide that it was propaganda, then the actions of the authors will be qualified under Article 6.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and the video production itself will be blocked.
