Irkutsk company intends to drive CSKA football club to bankruptcy
Information about the intention of the Irkutsk company Beta to apply to the arbitration court for the purpose of bankruptcy of the Moscow football club CSKA appeared on the ‘Fedresurs’ website.

The message says that Beta is the debtor's bankruptcy creditor.  According to ‘RB Business’, the Irkutsk company may apply to the court for bankruptcy due to a debt of 348.5 million rubles.  The debt was recognized as a result of legal proceedings, as Beta is the legal successor of F-Group.
F-Group acted as the general contractor for the construction of VEB Arena.
At the moment, ‘F-Group’ is declared bankrupt, but in 2020, the company filed a lawsuit against the football club, demanding almost 549 million rubles for unjust enrichment.  The plaintiff's position was based on the fact that CSKA had withheld the money for the construction payment as a penalty.  The reason is a violation of the contract (delay in work).

The court of first instance rejected the claim of F-Group. Then there was the court of appeal, which supported CSKA, but reduced the amount of the penalty to 200 million rubles.
As a result, the football club had to return 348.5 million rubles - this amount was announced by the Beta company.
But it is worth noting that on December 10, the Moscow Arbitration Court suspended the payment of funds, since CSKA filed a cassation appeal - the verdict will be issued b after its consideration.  It is known that the football club asks to pay attention to the unstable financial situation of Beta - if the decision is canceled, the company will not be able to return 348.5 million rubles to CSKA.
