In Khabarovsk, the school director will be tried for "dead souls"
One of the district courts of Khabarovsk will have to consider a curious criminal case. Law enforcement officers found that the director of a local school stole over a million rubles from the budget, justifying this with payments to non-existent employees.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, law enforcement officers found that for four years the school principal provided data on employees allegedly working under her and the need to pay them wages and compensation for vacation expenses.

Thus, during the specified period, the woman stole over a million rubles from the local budget.

In addition, it was found that about 900,000 rubles for a slightly shorter period of time were voluntarily transferred to her by her own employees. The money was part of the remuneration for the work of employees who, being in a position dependent on the boss, had no opportunity to resist.

At the moment, the prosecutor of the Khabarovsk Territory has already approved the indictment, soon it will be handed over to the person involved in the criminal case. The woman is charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — part 3 of Article 159.2 and part 1 of Article 286. The maximum penalty in the first case is imprisonment for up to six years, in the second — a similar measure, but for up to four years.
