‘Freedom Finance’ investment company made a decision to fight for business reputation
On February 16, 2022, the investment company filed an application with the capital arbitration (case No. À40-29183/2022). The lawsuit itself has not yet been considered, but the reasons for the appeal are already known. The company was outraged by an article published by Lenta.Ru, in which journalists compared it with QBF company. The latter is called a classic ‘scam’ by the media.
The original publication, titled ‘They’ve gone all sorts of rogue’, was published back on December 8, 2021. In it, in particular, Freedom Finance was described as a firm that provides access to IPOs abroad through ‘marginable options’.
In the event that a full-scale proceedings for the protection of business reputation begin, the court will have to decide whether the phrase ‘on a par with QBF’ means the full identification of the activities of both companies or not. Moreover, in the very text of the scandalous publication, the authors, citing experts, clearly indicate that QBF is a scam and fraud.
In addition, as noted by the Media Station, representatives of the Freedom Finance Investment Company are planning to deal with the violation of intellectual property rights to a trademark.

According to a number of sources, the company has indeed recently received a mixed reputation in different countries. For example, the financial regulator got interested in the activities of the organization in the territory of Kazakhstan. According to the @banksta Telegram channel, the subsidiary of the company (FFIN Brokerage Services) was on the list of 121 organizations in the activities of which the signs of a financial pyramid were found. 18.02.2022
