Black Star Wear brand’s seller is driven to bankruptcy by tax authorities
Fashion Industry company, the former licensee of the Black Star brand, may become insolvent upon a tax claim. The bankruptcy petition of the company was filed with the arbitration court (case ¹ À40-184160 / 2021). The amount of the claims of the Federal Tax Service has not yet been specified, and the application itself has not yet been considered by the court.

It is known that earlier, the company was owned by sister of Pavel Kuryanov (‘Pashu’) Irina, Artem Yunusov, Walter Chassem and the ‘Olymp’ company. However, after Timur Yunusov had left Black Star business in the middle of last year (Rusbankrot previously wrote about this), Kuryanov and Chassem remained the owners of the company.

Experts note that sales of the company fell to almost zero in 2020.

This means that Fashion Industry runs the risk of repeating the fate of another Black Star licensee, which began to be driven to bankruptcy by the tax authorities in March 2021.

The history of the Black Star Clothing Line has already been described in the publication of Rusbankrot for March 12, 2021. Hearings in the case (¹ A40-48028 / 2021) have been postponed several times over the past months. The next hearing is scheduled for October 12th. Earlier, it was reported that the company owed more than 5 million rubles to the state treasury.
