BANKRUPTCY OF THE FAVORIT FACTORY IN NOVOSIBIRSK HAS BEEN INITIATED
Nikolay Dremin, an entrepreneur, applied to the Novosibirsk Arbitration Court (Arbitration Court of the Novosibirsk Region) with a statement on the insolvency of Fabrika Favorit (LLC). The company is known as a major regional producer of oil and fats. Dremin is the legal successor of the dairy plant in Barnaul. The sum of the claims amounted to 2.22 million.

The lawsuit was filed on December 19, 2024 (case no. A45-43989/2024). On the same day, the company "Pro Factor" and "Rosselkhoznadzor" filed their petitions for entry into the case. Their claims amount to 14 377 076.78 rubles and 926 056 thousand rubles, respectively. As a result, the total amount of claims is about 17.5 million.

According to the court file, by now the factory is already involved in 12 lawsuits, the total amount of claims for which is about 50 million. The persons representing the owners of Favorit's bonds announced plans to be included in the register of creditors immediately after the court puts the factory under surveillance. However, judicial acts on the case have not yet been issued.

The factory experienced financial difficulties in early September. The organization has committed a technical default related to securities in circulation on the stock exchange. The amount of debt on the bonds is 60 million. The income for the next coupon period in the amount of 986.4 thousand was not paid.

The organizer of the bond placement is Uniservice Capital. Later, on September 10, 2024, information appeared that all operations on Favorit's accounts were suspended by the tax authorities. The reason for such measures was the debt to the Federal Tax Service in the amount of about 9 million. Three months later, the company's creditors announced that they planned to initiate its insolvency.

The organization is a key producer of fat and oil products beyond the Urals. Each year, the company produces about 12 thousand tons of it. At the same time, the goods arrive not only in the regions of Siberia and the Far East, but also in the CIS countries. According to the results of last year, the company's revenue amounted to 905 million, and its net profit was 17 million. The owner and CEO of the company is Boris Degtyarev.

The situation around the Favorit Factory highlights the difficulties that even large regional manufacturers face in the face of economic instability. The court's decision to introduce a monitoring procedure may be decisive for the future fate of the company.
