A citizen named Lucifer demands 666 rubles from the Russian Orthodox Church
A resident of Novosibirsk named Lucifer Konchakov-Bagration applied to court with a demand to require 666 rubles from the Russian Orthodox Church. We are talking about the dissemination of information that does not correspond to reality.
The 45-year-old plaintiff believes that the church discredits his name, equating him with the devil. At the same time, Lucifer changed his name not so long ago - only a few months ago. The plaintiff states that it means ‘light bearer’ and should not be associated with Satan in any way.
The citizen is demanding 666 rubles for moral compensation and relevant publications from the ROC in the press.
The case of Lucifer Konchakov-Bagration will be considered by the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow. The Russian Orthodox Church has not yet commented on the situation.
Previously, a resident of Novosibirsk was called Alexei. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the plaintiff believes that the church has insulted his honor and dignity by using the name Lucifer in a negative way. As for the amount of 666 rubles, Konchakov-Bagration claims that this is another stereotype - according to the man, in astrology this figure denotes Venus and means love.
