THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS HAS SEIZED THE ASSETS OF ENTREPRENEUR GOLDMAN FOR 1 BILLION
The property of the CEO and co-owner of PJSC UK Goldman Group was taken under arrest. It includes 383 properties and 136 units of cars and motorcycles. The reason for this was the suspicion of fraudulent transactions with the funds of shareholders of the Agro Deposit consumer cooperative, owned by Roman Goldman.
According to the main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, more than 1 thousand members of the cooperative applied to law enforcement agencies. In total, 2.5 thousand people are participants of Agro Deposit.
The amount of damage that the security forces see in Goldman's activities is more than 1.3 billion rubles. At the moment, the regional authorities and law enforcement agencies are exploring the possibilities of improving the structures of the agricultural holding, which may be threatened with bankruptcy.
Goldman is one of the largest entrepreneurs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The authorized capital of the parent company of the holding, which he manages, is 10.67 billion. The group of companies includes 12 organizations selling petroleum products, engaged in the production of dairy and meat products, storage of grain and oilseeds.
Earlier, the entrepreneur declared his income for 2021 in the amount of 31.4 million rubles. It is known that his personal property includes 7 plots of land of various sizes, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Toyota cars, Bombardier Ski-Doo stegobolotohod. The owners of four more apartments are Goldman's daughters.
Goldman was a deputy in the legislative assembly of the region three times. In 2021, he was nominated by United Russia in the Yemelyanovsky district No. 10, where Goldman defeated his main competitors by a large margin.
On November 23, 2023, the businessman's parliamentary powers were removed in connection with the court verdict. For negligent possession of firearms, which injured a person, Goldman was fined 90 thousand rubles.
On November 24, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the statements of shareholders, according to which a criminal case was opened. Many of the applicants are employees of Goldman Group enterprises. A few weeks before, the website of the Agro Contribution cooperative announced the closure of its offices.
At the same time, the departments of the Myasnichy trading House, which is a structure of the Goldman Group, were closed in large supermarkets in Krasnoyarsk. On November 20, two holding companies were supposed to make payments of about 36 million to bondholders, but they defaulted. Roman Goldman himself is presumably in Turkey, having left the Russian Federation at the end of October. The businessman's family members went abroad even earlier.
