THE EX-HEAD OF AVA-TRADE WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE BANKRUPT STATUS
Leonid Agapov, who headed the Voronezh aluminum plant, does not give up trying to protest the court's decision on his bankruptcy. The ex-head of AVA-Trade decided to appeal to the cassation (Arbitration Court of the Central District) with a complaint.

In October 2023, the judicial instance (the 19th Nineteenth Arbitration Court of Appeal) had already considered his petition in the case (No. A14-23573/2022). On August 10, 2023, the Voronezh Arbitration Court declared it insolvent, and the appeal supported the decision of the first instance. As Rusbankrot reported, according to the statement of Avangard Bank, the assets of the former head of AVA-Trade fell under restructuring.

Recently, Arapov has managed to enter into a confrontation with his partners. Its culmination was the removal of the former CEO from the management of the AVA-Trade company in April 2022. He has held this position since 2014. However, after the decision of the sole founder of the plant, the AL5 company, the management of the enterprise passed to Sergey Solodov.

Personal bankruptcy is not the sole problem of an entrepreneur. In the summer of 2023, information appeared that the Tagansky Court of the capital was engaged in a criminal case of major fraud involving Arapov. The prosecution charges him with embezzlement of funds from the organization he led. However, as Kommersant wrote, the ex-head of the company refused to admit his guilt.
