THE ENTREPRENEUR THREATENS "LENGAZSPETSSTROY" WITH BANKRUPTCY
Alexander Shcherbakov, who previously received the rights of claim from the Town Group company, announced his intention to apply to the court with an application for insolvency of the company "Lengazspetsstroy" (JSC "LGSS"). A large company engaged in the construction of oil product pipelines risks becoming bankrupt due to a debt of 1.9 million rubles.

According to open sources, the JSC received about 32.8 million rubles in net profit in 2022. At the same time, the company's total revenue for the year amounted to 68.3 billion. Data for 2023 has not yet been released.

The basis for the litigation was the contract signed by LGSS and the firm "Town Group" in December 2022. It was about the transportation of cargo, which the customer had to pay for. However, the money never arrived, and the creditor assigned his debt to Shcherbakov. In October 2023, the arbitration court in St. Petersburg recovered the funds.

Lawyers representing "Lengazspetsstroy" at the court hearing stated that the reason for the non-payment was the violation by the carrier of the terms of the contract, involving the opening of a separate bank account. It was to him that the JSC was supposed to transfer funds. However, the court considered that these circumstances are not grounds for ignoring the obligations arising from the contract.

Representatives of the company wanted to appeal the decision of the St. Petersburg arbitration court on appeal. However, the complaint was not accompanied by evidence of payment of the state fee. This became the basis for the return of the complaint at the end of 2023.

In early November 2023, TEK ML (TIN 7805313619) already filed for bankruptcy with LGSS. The defendant's debt to her was 1,127,800 rubles. However, on December 26, 2023, the arbitration court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region closed the case (No. A56-107217/2023). The plaintiff explained that the debt had been repaid and there were no grounds for continuing the process.
