THE CASE OF THE DELIBERATE BANKRUPTCY OF THE AGRICULTURAL FIRM "OMSK" HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE COURT
Omsk Regional Prosecutor's Office announced the completion of work on the final version of the charges brought against ex-deputy of the regional parliament Sergei Golovachev and former director of the company "Agrofirma Omsk" Alexey Stepanenko. Both top managers are accused of deliberate bankruptcy of the organization (Article 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The judge in the criminal case has not yet been appointed. The May Day District Court will judge entrepreneurs.

At the end of August 2020, Rosselkhoznadzor applied to arbitration, asking to involve persons who exercised control over the company's activities in the subsidy. The amount of the bank's claims against the agricultural company that owed him amounted to 173 million. The defendants in the application of the credit institution were Sergey and Svetlana Golovacheva, Alexey Stepanenko, Nina Koryukhova and the company "Siberian Export".

At the same time, equipment and real estate of the Omsk agrofirm property complex, including lease rights to land plots, were put up for auction. The initial cost of the lot was 119.3 million rubles. By this time, the agrofirm had been at the stage of competitive production for almost a year.

A year later, the FSB initiated a criminal case against the leaders of the organization. On November 10, 2021, searches took place in the house of ex-deputy Golovachev, since it was with him that the Synergy company, which established the Omsk agrofirm, was affiliated.

During the investigation, it was concluded that the heads of the organization went to the conclusion of a number of fictitious contracts in order to withdraw more than 181 million rubles from the company in debt to the bank. Criminal acts were committed by them from October 2018 until August 2019.

During this period, the company's warehouses lost about 10 thousand tons of grain, the cost of which was over 140 million. This asset was the main one for the company. The company could no longer satisfy the creditors' claims after such a loss. As a result, the property of the defendants in the case and controlled firms, whose founders were their relatives, was arrested within 64 million rubles, Kommersant writes.

It is curious that ex-deputy Golovachev, who for several years (from 2018 to 2020) worked in the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, was considered the poorest people's deputy. During the entire period of his activity as a legislator, the entrepreneur did not officially receive any income. In 2021, Golovachev did not run for the Legislative Assembly, where he had already served two convocations.
