THE COURT ORDERED "EBIDOEBI" TO CHANGE THE NAME
After 4 months, Ebidoebi LLC will have to change its name, since the court (case no. A33-31075/22) satisfied the tax authority's requirement to oblige the defendant to make changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities regarding the name.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation supported the position of the FAS that the name of the company is inappropriate, despite the justification provided by the company that the name and the name of the sets were formed by translating Japanese words, which, in essence, are harmless, and no foul language was put into the names.

In the case considered by the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court did not consider it necessary to appoint a forensic examination, since "Neither the possibility of calling such associations [with obscene language – approx., ed.neither the inconsistency of such associations with public interests, principles of humanity and morality requires special knowledge in any field, and, therefore, cannot be established with the help of forensic examination in the field of linguistics or philosophy."

The decision in full was made on April 7, the court ordered the defendant to change the name within 3 months. However, most likely, Ebidoebi LLC will try to appeal the decision, in connection with which the term may stretch until the case is considered by the Court of Appeal.
