Sergey Sobyanin provided the businessmen of Moscow with a deferral of the lease payments

In particular, this applies to the enterprises that were forced to close according to the decree of the Mayor of Moscow, dated March 5, 2020 No. 12-UM, aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the capital, as well as those, who were particularly affected by the pandemic of tourism, hotel and entertainment business areas.

First of all, the government granted the deferrals of the lease payments for the land that is a property of the city. It is important that the benefit is declaratory in nature, and in order to receive it, the entrepreneurs need to inform the authorities of their desire to use it.

The second measure is a tax deferral, granted for the payment of property tax and land tax (the privilege was granted for the period of the first quarter of 2020) for a number of companies, before the end of the year. The third benefit is that the deadline for paying the trade fee for the same first quarter of 2020 was extended till the end of the year.

Thus, the Government of Moscow is making an attempt not “kick” the unsteady business in order to keep it afloat.
