PSC FROM THE VARYAG HOLDING WAS DECLARED BANKRUPT

CHOO "Gorspetskhran" was declared insolvent on the basis of the decision of the Chelyabinsk arbitration. The organization, which is part of the Varyag group of companies, filed for its own bankruptcy in August 2022, indicating over 152 million rubles as a debt. At the moment, the amount of the company's debt is 215 million. The debt includes the amount of 77.7 million unpaid to the tax authorities.

The company has been in existence since the early 2000s. Initially, the company was named PSC "Varyag". The organization acquired its current name in April 2021. Before that, the company was called "Varyag-1" (since 2016). The beneficiary and head of the security structure is Alexey Shashkov. In the region, he owns several dozen firms with a similar line of activity.

It is known that the losses of the PSC in 2021 amounted to 43.5 million. By July 2022, as the monitoring procedure showed, the accounts payable of the organization amounted to 170.8 million. Debtors – less than 9 million rubles. The organization has 27 employees. The company does not have any funds in circulation.

According to Kommersant, the bankruptcy of the security holding structures is an attempt to get rid of the dysfunctional assets that have accumulated debt obligations. It is known that among the creditors of the PSC, the main part is made up of affiliated structures. So, for example, the largest debt at the moment was the amount of 102.18 million that Gorspetskhran owes to PSC Varyag-5.

Other organizations belonging to the Varyag group of companies were in the queue of creditors. Independent creditors in the case are Andrey Batrakov with a claim of 14.2 million and the tax authorities.

Experts point out that it is those creditors who are not affiliated with the bankrupt who can receive priority in meeting the requirements. At the same time, there is nothing unusual in the very fact of the existence of related structures, unless signs of premeditation or fictitiousness of bankruptcy are detected in the process.

Until May 2024, the company has the right to lease land with an area of almost 300 sq. m. meters. In the past, the property was owned by the company by right of ownership, however, it was sold in 2022. Also, until the end of July 2024, Gorspetskhran has a license to provide security services received from Rosgvardiya.
