The Lipetsk-based Energostroyservice company, specializing in engineering communications, was able to avoid bankruptcy despite a significant tax debt. The situation with the financial condition of the company was considered in the arbitration court.
The essence of the problem became apparent when, in November 2024, the tax authorities of the Lipetsk region filed for bankruptcy of the company due to debts exceeding 37 million rubles.
However, the arbitration court decided to terminate the proceedings, pointing out that the company did not have the funds to cover the court costs. It is noteworthy that the fiscal authorities did not provide evidence of the company's financial capabilities for debt settlements, which was the reason for rejecting the claim.
The company was first registered in March 2017. Its owner is Evgeny Pleseinov, and its director is Nikolai Melnikov. In 2023, the organization moved its office to Lipetsk, and before that its legal address was in Moscow. By that time, the number of employees of the enterprise exceeded 300 people. According to the Federal Tax Service, by the beginning of 2025, the amount of tax arrears amounted to 38 million rubles.
Despite the significant financial burden, the company showed revenue growth of 40% in 2023. It reached 670 million. However, the company ended the year with losses of almost 4 million. For comparison, in 2022, Energostroyservice recorded a net profit of more than 90 million.
Energostroyservice is actively conducting lawsuits with tax authorities, challenging the fines imposed and the decisions of tax audits. This affects the financial stability of the company.
