Is the cancellation of tax audits in force? The companies complain about violation of the moratorium.

As a part of the measures, taken to combat the spread of coronavirus infection, the court proceedings were terminated, the citizens were not allowed to attend tax authorities, and even the police stations switched to receiving the messages through the mailboxes.

Among other anti-virus measures, a moratorium on tax audits of the companies was announced. However, as it became known, the audits continue to be carried out, and the reasons for them have rather routine nature.

In particular, the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs expressed their interest in fulfilling the obligations under the supply contract and subsequent payment for the goods in one of the companies.

The representatives of the tax inspectorates continue to conduct desk unscheduled inspections, call for interrogations, inspect tenants in the premises during the announced quarantine, put forward the requirements for the documents during the official holidays, introduced to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

The Treasury of Russia continues to implement the financial monitoring procedures in relation to the companies, Rostrud checks the companies for the compliance with labor laws.

If it goes further, then the government officials themselves can become the distributors of the virus for the companies they inspect.
