Federal Tax Service has temporarily canceled fines for the absence of sales checks
The Federal Tax Service has introduced a measure according to which the application of penalties for not issuing a check to the buyer is temporarily canceled.  This is due to the “reorientation of supply chains," the department's website says.

Thus, those who use cash registers will not receive a fine in case of fixing the calculation at the checkout, but not issuing a paper check. In order to avoid punishment, a situation must arise in which there is simply no cash register for objective reasons. The department refers to them the absence of such a product on the market, the FTS said in an official statement.

Tax authorities separately noted that, according to the data provided by the suppliers of the cash tape, there were no problems with providing customers with it.

However, due to the changing logistics situation, there still may be some supply constraints.

In addition, the Federal Tax Service recalled that in order to minimize the cost of cash tapes, electronic receipts can be issued to customers. With the consent of the consumer, such a document can be sent to the phone number or e-mail address of the client.

Another way to refuse paper checks is the “My Checks Online” service. The service was launched by the tax service last year and has gained 1.5 million users since then. The service accumulates all the client's electronic checks, each of which he can later get acquainted with.
