The insolvency case of Glavmasprom in the Voronezh Region has moved to the monitoring stage. The decision on this was made by the arbitration of the region on the claim of the firm "Archbum", filed in early 2023. At the same time, the grounds of the claims and their amount remain unknown.
Interestingly, the initiator of the bankruptcy process himself stopped his participation in it, having issued the assignment of debt to the companies "Prime" and "Agroeco-processing" engaged in wholesale trade in fish and meat, respectively. Both of them applied to arbitration in May with a petition for succession. Their application was granted, which allowed the company "Archbum" to terminate its participation in the case.
According to experts, debt repurchase can be a step that allows two companies to control the bankruptcy process. This will happen if it turns out that they own more than 50% in the register of creditors' claims. If Glavmasprom finds valuable assets, this situation will allow companies to get satisfaction at their expense.
The firm "Prime" from St. Petersburg is owned by businessman Oleg Shishigin. It originated in 2016 and specializes in the fish trade. According to the reporting data, the company received a net profit of more than 135.9 million in 2021. The firm's annual revenue for that year was 1.3 billion. Earlier, according to local media, she had already bought the debt of Glavmasprom to the power engineers in 2.3 million.
Agroeco-Processing (the "daughter" of Agroeco Group of Companies) has repeatedly faced the defendant in court. In particular, the firm applied for the recovery of 5 million rubles as a groundless appeal. The arbitration accepted the claim for consideration, but has not yet considered the merits.
Glavmyasprom, together with Glavmyastorg Trading House, are co-defendants in another claim of Agroeco-Processing, which is in the proceedings of the arbitration court. The company demands to recover 118 million rubles as a debt for the delivered goods. Also, the company is demanding a separate claim from the meat producer for almost 125 million under the equipment pledge contract.
It is not yet clear whether the Borisoglebsky enterprise will be able to get out of the bankruptcy procedure, given the uncertainty of financial requirements. The company has been operating since 2006 and supplies meat products to retail chains popular with consumers ("Crossroads", "Metro" and others). The sole beneficiary and head of the company is Valery Guglin. According to the financial statements for 2021, the organization earned 962 thousand rubles of profit, receiving revenue in excess of 600 million rubles.
