The day before, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia commented on the budget of Russia approved for the next year, urging the deputies to abandon the New Year holidays so that the funds could quickly reach the ‘consumers’.
Deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky, known for his emotional statements, did not disregard the country's budget approved the day before. In his opinion, trillions of rubles were ‘thrown’ in it ‘for the first time in the history of Russia’, reports Ura.ru.
Consequently, the task is to promptly allocate the funds to the addressees. The politician also voiced a proposal to send all the money to the regions as soon as possible.
For this, he proposed the idea of refusing from the New Year holidays and retuning to the service after January 1. According to the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, this must be done so that funds reach the addressees within the first month of year.
Last Wednesday, the State Duma adopted a final version of the new draft budget. It assumes that the country's budget will be in surplus for the next two years, and there will be a deficit in 2024.
