The initiative has been proposed in order to develop the changes introduced by the amendments to the main law of the country and aims to provide more citizens with participation in various kinds of youth projects.
The change of the age limit will allow the population to receive more various kinds of state support, for example, in the form of grants.
In addition, the draft law contains the very definition of the word "youth", as well as other related terms, thereby securing the special status of the citizens who fall under this category.
The main directions of youth policy are supposed to be determined based on the needs of young people, taking into account national characteristics at the level of the state, regional and local authorities.
