State Duma to consider the law on external management in foreign companies in May
After the holidays, the State Duma plans to consider a draft law that provides for the possibility of introduction external management in foreign companies.  It is assumed that the document will be adopted in the first reading, and in the future it will be finalized.

The draft law, as conceived by the authors, primarily aims to preserve jobs in companies where the share of foreign participation is a quarter or more.

In such enterprises, provided that they are producers of essential goods or products that have no analogues, an external management procedure may be introduced.

It has may be initiated by the head of the region or the head of the sectoral federal executive body. At the same time, the proposal should be considered by the interdepartmental commission, which will be functioning under the Ministry of Economic Development.

According to the parliamentarian Sergei Gavrilov, the bill is planned to be adopted, after which it will be finalized for further consideration in the second reading.

The result should be a law that suits the interests of the state and the entrepreneurs, as well as employees. At the same time, due to the fact that preservation of jobs remains the main priority, the task is not to sell the property of the departed companies and distribute salary debts, but to help the business in hope that the companies will return, Izvestia reports.
