State Duma of Russia will consider the bill on increasing payments in case of bankruptcy
The lower house of parliament is to consider a draft law that proposes to increase the amount of payments to employees of bankrupt companies.  We are talking about including the debts to employees in the second order, as well as changing the current legislative limit on payments (up to 30 thousand rubles for each month).

The initiative was taken by the deputies of the Liberal Democratic Party, who proposed to increase the amount to 100 thousand rubles in connection with the forecasted inflation in the country up to 20%.

The draft law was published on the Telegram channel of the parliamentarian Yaroslav Nilov. The deputy stressed out that in the current situation, the fulfilment of social obligations to employees is of particular relevance.

The explanatory note to the document says that in connection with the introduction of unprecedented sanctions against the Russian Federation, as well as the increase in the key rate by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, serious damage is inflicted on Russian business. This is also due to the large dependence of entrepreneurship on imported goods. The situation may provoke the inability of companies to fulfil their obligations to contractors, employees and the state and, as a result, lead to a wave of bankruptcies.

Under these conditions, many Russians may lose their earnings, and therefore it is especially important to provide them with additional support. The introduction of the bill in the lower house of parliament is scheduled for this week.
