A bill has been submitted to the State Duma to increase the maximum salary payment for employees of a bankrupt company. The author of the amendments to the Bankruptcy Law is Deputy Yaroslav Nilov.
Recall that today the maximum amount of remuneration for the debtor's employees does not exceed 30,000 rubles for each month per employee.
As Yaroslav Nilov explains his initiative, the debts of bankrupt enterprises increased markedly last year compared to 2021 - from 1.21 trillion rubles to 1.67 trillion. And the inflation rate, the deputy noted, in 2022 turned out to be the highest since 2015.
According to Nilov, the changes in the law will help citizens to return their earned finances in a larger amount if the employer is declared insolvent.
