It became known that the authorities are discussing the possibility of introduction QR codes in transport. The final decision will depend on the epidemiological situation.
As reported by RBC, two federal officials, as well as the sources from the transport industry, shared the information. The technical possibility of introducing QR codes confirming the immune status when boarding on airplanes and trains is being discussed.
Earlier, the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the representatives of Kremlin were not discussing the introduction of QR codes in transport, since this was the responsibility of other departments.
Additional QR codes may be introduced if the situation with the coronavirus worsens.
Sources of media note that the collection of opinions on this issue will end by November 15. The proposals were put forward by the State Duma, the Federation Council and other federal departments. Russian Railways also confirm that the issue of introducing QR codes is being discussed, but the final decision has not yet been made.
