QR codes may be introduced on planes and trains
It became known that the authorities are discussing the possibility of introduction QR codes in transport. The final decision will depend on the epidemiological situation.
As reported by RBC, two federal officials, as well as the sources from the transport industry, shared the information. The technical possibility of introducing QR codes confirming the immune status when boarding on airplanes and trains is being discussed.
Earlier, the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the representatives of Kremlin were not discussing the introduction of QR codes in transport, since this was the responsibility of other departments.
According to the latest data, 39 160 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the Russian Federation per day. A new daily anti-record for the number of deaths (1 211) was recorded. Among the regions with the maximum incidence, Moscow (5287), Moscow region (2818) and St. Petersburg (2680) are still in the lead.
