Oleg Deripaska proposed a new model of pension reform

Entrepreneur and billionaire Oleg Deripaska came up with a number of initiatives to improve the Russian economy in the face of sanctions pressure.  One of the proposals was the need for a pension reform in the country in parallel with the restructuring of large state corporations.

The businessman's idea, voiced in an interview with the “Expert”, is to divide large state-owned companies into several companies and make them the owner of the Pension Fund with the condition of professional management of income received from the activities.

Thus, the pension system will be filled with assets that will allow people over 45 to have a source of pension payments, regardless of the federal budget funds.

As for the younger generation, its representatives will need to continue to earn money on their own. Deripaska called such changes a very important step that must be taken shortly, otherwise, it would never be done.

In addition to this, the entrepreneur proposed to stimulate the construction of real estate throughout the country in order to provide an opportunity to invest the funds of the population. Against this background, it is also proposed to reduce the mortgage rate on loans different for all regions of Russia.

According to the businessman, it is necessary to solve the problem of building components, to establish partnerships with other countries, in particular, with India and China. For these purposes, the construction of a high-speed highway is proposed.
