Liberal Democratic Party of Russia proposed to expand family mortgage

Deputies of the LDPR party proposed the initiative to expand the mortgage lending program.  Parliamentarians proposed to increase the circle of families who can use the benefit by law.  Now it is eligible for those who have had children since 2018.  The Liberal Democratic Party believes that this figure can be changed to 2015.

The relevant initiative has already been sent to the Prime Minister, it was also supported by the representatives of business community.

Among other proposed measures, the document names a reduction in personal income tax for construction companies, the establishment of a moratorium on penalties for overdue contracts, as well as the extension of reduced insurance premium rates.

Initially, the measure to reduce contributions concerned small and medium-sized businesses, but now it is proposed to extend it to large businesses.

According to experts, at the moment the share of family mortgages is a quarter of the total. This means that the proposed measures will help the market to quickly adapt to new conditions, Izvestia reports. In addition, innovations for developers should ensure that demand for apartments is maintained, since family mortgages remain a popular tool for young families.

Since the beginning of March, the demand for primary housing has decreased by 15%, for secondary housing - by 12%. If the new measure is adopted, it is expected that about 5 million families will additionally be able to take advantage of the preferential offer.
