There are more bankrupt firms in the Daughter-Son trading network

The metropolitan arbitration court recognized the insolvency of two companies belonging to the well-known chain of "Daughter-Son" stores. The initiator of the case against one of the companies (Volga LLC) was the firm «New House», which applied to the court in mid-March 2022 (No. A40-49190/22-44-106 B).

In the course of the proceedings, it turned out that the «Volga» company decided to liquidate on March 2, 2022, and therefore the moratorium on bankruptcy established by the government does not interfere with the consideration of the case. Another firm was the company «Opt Torg», about whose bankruptcy the File of arbitration cases does not yet inform. However, according to Forbes, the decision on its bankruptcy was made by arbitration on June 7.

Several banking structures («Promsvyazbank», «Sberbank», «Gazenergobank»), «Demar Rus» company acted as creditors of «Volga». Denis Bakholdin, an individual entrepreneur, became the legal successor of the «New House» company in early June. It was for the Volga company that the registration of the main domain of the trading network was previously issued dochkisinochki.ru , and the organization itself was called managing the entire network.

The problems of the network of children's goods «Daughters-sons» have been known for a long time. In January, «Rusbankrot» wrote about the company's plans to declare five organizations belonging to the group of companies bankrupt at once.

The main owner of the business, Alexander Bondyashov, has always been inclined to explain the bankruptcy of individual firms by the need to improve work efficiency and optimize activities by getting rid of trading enterprises that generate losses.

Experts, commenting on the bankruptcy, referred to the intractability of creditors, the consequences of the pandemic and the growth of online trading.

Similar information about the bankruptcy plans of several organizations of the «Rusbankrot» network was published in May 2022. Then we were talking about the «Saturn» and «Carnival» companies. The retailer's representatives also explained their possible recognition as insolvent by optimization procedures.

Recall that «Daughters-sons» occupy the second position among retail chains in the children's goods market in Russia. They own about 190 retail outlets, and the market share is about 3%. Experts estimated the retailer's revenue for 2021 at 7.6 billion rubles, excluding VAT.
