In the Rostov region, arbitration entered bankruptcy in respect of a shipping company that owed 2 billion 10 million 148 thousand rubles. The court decision is dated June 21, 2022. The plaintiff in the case was the capital firm "SHD Proton", which bought out the obligations of the water carrier from Sberbank.

The company "Donrechflot" is under regional management and is one of the largest in the south of the Russian Federation. Until recently, the company owned more than 70 vessels with a payload weight (deadweight) of up to 7 thousand tons.

The company is one of the structures of the Azov-Don Shipping Company, which is engaged in the transportation of goods to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the countries of the Caspian basin. The company itself is the operator of the river-sea vessels and the internal fleet.

The bankruptcy case began to be considered back in 2020.

At the same time, the company's debt obligations are comparable to the total revenue received for 2021. In recent years, the company has regularly ended up with losses – last year the loss amounted to 355 million rubles.

According to information from open sources, the entire stake in the organization is owned by the Regional Ministry of Property. The head of the company is Mikhail Shvalev, a former deputy of the State Duma and the son of Fyodor Shvalev, a former deputy governor from 1997 to 2002.

Much less is known about the company "SHD Proton". The company was founded in 2014 and is a microenterprise that manages and rents real estate. CEO Vladimir Martynenko is legally the main beneficiary of the company.

Earlier, the company bought the shipping company's debts from the company "NRK Asset" (Sberbank structures). The latter was collecting about $30 million from the Azov-Don Shipping Company and Donrechflot. Proton Storage spent 1 billion rubles on the conclusion of the assignment agreement.

It is known that the defendant has another large debt to the bank "Trust" in the amount of $ 27.9 million.

Its recovery was slowed down because the bankruptcy process was started in 2020. Now, experts suggest, in the context of the company's transition to surveillance, Trust may once again intensify its efforts to recover debt.
