THE INFAMOUS ESTATE IN VOLGOGRAD IS THREATENED WITH BANKRUPTCY
The Volgograd firm "Sosnovy Bor" may be bankrupt. The co-owner of the company, Tatiana Volkolupova, made a decision in the Dzerzhinsky court of Volgograd to recover 46.1 million rubles. The reason for this was the interest on loans that the entrepreneur provided to the organization for development.
According to the news agency "Height 102", Volkolupova for several years allocated loans for the infamous hotel complex. Their total amount was 12 million rubles. At the same time, accruals for some of them reached up to 120% per annum. Since the creditor did not wait for either the principal debt or interest, the court's decision is quite understandable.
The debtor tried to reduce the amount of the penalty, pointing to the difficult financial situation. The company pays 700 thousand monthly as installments. At the same time, the company also owes energy companies about 12 million for electricity. But the court found no grounds to support the defendant, justifying this by the fact that the contracts continue to operate, and no loan payments were made.
The estate, which is managed by the indebted Volkolupova company, was previously one of the attractions of Volgograd.
On an area of 14.3 thousand square meters . guest houses, a restaurant, a banquet hall, an equestrian club and much more were built there. The company has been operating since 2007, and its main owner (he owns 2/3 of the company) Vladimir Zubkov was considered an "authoritative businessman" in the city. In 2018, the company's revenue amounted to 99 million rubles, and net profit – 5.2 million rubles.
Everything changed in 2019, when Zubkov was arrested. He was detained on charges of attempted murder of the regional head Andrei Bocharov. After that, it suddenly turned out that a significant part of the estate's buildings (useful area – about 5 thousand square meters) were erected without the necessary permits and should be demolished.
In November 2021, the territory of the Sosnovy Bor hotel and entertainment complex was disconnected from gas and water supply.
Cadastral information informs that the land plot on which the estate buildings are located is owned by three owners: Zubkov, Volkolupova and Elizaveta Ruleva. Its estimated cost is about 93 million rubles. According to the regional cadastral map, initially a sports and recreation complex was to be built on this territory.
